Homeschooling in Alaska
Alaska offers two paths. Independent home study under Section 14.30.010 requires no notice, no testing, no required subjects, and no parent credential. State and district correspondence programs provide an allotment for curriculum and materials in exchange for public school oversight. Compulsory age 7 through 16.
